Wow! That was quite an event! Thank you to all who helped me celebrate my 25th anniversary of priestly ordination. I had told my office staff as we were preparing for this day, “If we can pull this off, it will be quite an event!” And so it was. Thanks, therefore to my office staff, especially Leslie, Laura and Kathy; our event organizing committee, including: Jeanne Frater, Belle Grubbs, and Ginger Infantino; photographer, Ed Rodden from Holy Trinity; Kathy’s husband, Jim, and the Knights of Columbus who helped with cleanup afterwards, especially seeing as how they had to also set up for the VBS the next day; and all who participated; thanks for your very thoughtful cards and gifts. Thanks to Cupid’s Catering for their great service. Many commented how quickly the food line progressed (as we had specifically requested) and how good the food was. I thank also those who sent me greetings even though you could not be there that day.
