“But now we must celebrate and rejoice, because your brother was dead, but has come back to life again; he was lost and has been found.”

The story of the Prodigal Son reminds us that God rejoices when those who are separated from God turn back to him, and so should we. In this year of mercy we are called to do all we can to welcome those who are seeking to be reconciled with us, with God, and with the Church. May our hearts always be ready when others are ready for reconciliation.
