The Rite of Sending, wherein we acknowledge and send out Catechumens (those preparing for Baptism) to meet the Bishop will take place at the 11:00 AM Mass on February 14th, the First Sunday of Lent. Then later that afternoon we gather with members from every parish around the Diocese for the Rite of Election at Golden Hall, where the Bishop accepts the Catechumens as the “Elect”, in preparation for their baptism at the Easter Vigil. Please pray for our Catechumens during the Lenten season!
