The Interfaith Shelter Needs

Our parish will once again be hosting guests who are situationally homeless when the Interfaith Shelter is held at our parish from January 14-28, 2023. Guests will spend each night in the Parish Hall and we will provide dinner, sack lunches, a warm place for sleeping, a shower, and breakfast each morning.

You will have an opportunity to contribute to the Shelter by participating in our Shelter Giving Rack on the weekend of December 3 & 4. You are invited to stop by the giving rack to select one or more cards with items that are needed for the Shelter. Purchase the items and drop them off at Church when you come to Mass the following weekend on Shelter Sunday, December 10 & 11.

On Shelter Sunday, you can also meet the Shelter Organizing Team and you will also have the opportunity to volunteer to bring a meal, serve breakfast, spend a night, transport guests to the laundry, set up or break down the Shelter, or make a cash donation. This is a practical way to carry out the Corporal Works of Mercy during this Advent Season.

Las Necesidades de Refugio Interreligioso

Nuestra parroquia una vez más acogerá a invitados que se encuentran sin hogar por medio del refugio interreligioso. Se llevara acabo del 14 al 28 de Enero de 2023. Los invitados pasarán cada noche en el salón parroquial y les proporcionaremos cenas, almuerzos, un lugar para dormir, ducharse y desayunar cada mañana.

Tiene la oportunidad de contribuir con el Refugio, participando en nuestra retribución del Refugio el fin de semana del 3 al 4 de Diciembre. Está invitado a pasar por la retribución y seleccionar una o más tarjetas con artículos  necesarios para la Refugio. Compre los artículos y déjelos en la Iglesia cuando venga a Misa el siguiente fin de semana  Domingo 10 y 11 de Diciembre.

El domingo de refugio, también puede conocer al equipo organizador del refugio y también tendrá la oportunidad de ser voluntario para traer comida, servir el desayuno, pasar la noche, transportar a los invitados a la lavandería, instalar o desarmar el refugio. Esta es una forma práctica de realizar las Obras de Misericordia Corporales durante este tiempo de Adviento.
