This week the bishops and priests of our Diocese will be on their Annual Convocation in Temecula. Each year on the closing Mass and banquet they honor the Jubilarians celebrating 25 or 50 years of priesthood. They also have one of the Jubilarians give the homily at the closing Mass. Since I will be one of those celebrating 25 years, I volunteered and was accepted to give the homily at the Mass. Pray for me! (And all of us)

Since the priests will be away, there will be no 8:00 a.m. Mass Tuesday – Thursday this week. Instead, there will be a Liturgy of the Word Service with the Distribution of Holy Communion on those days. There will be Mass as usual on Monday and Friday.
